From our dive base in Havelock Island, we run daily 2-tank dive trips to the best dive sites of Havelock and Neil.
Manta rays glide by on a dive, unpeturbed by your bubbles. A reef shark swims by nonchalantly, but keeping an eye on you to make sure you are not up to any michief. Pierre the napoleon and his three sons come by to take a better look. Large, 4-5 meter sea fans form an avenue through which you glide. A squadron of travellay dart among the reef fish, looking for laggards while in the distance, tuna and barracuda dart along like silver arrows in the blue. And, with the help of our guides, there is even a chance of spotting the elusive dugong - one of the few places in the world where this is possible.
The water is warm year-long - between 25-30C - and visibility
ranges from 15-30m in the further reefs (a little less in
the closer reefs). The corals are absolutely spectacular and
with over 850 species of marine life in the region, you are
in one of the most bio-diverse regions of the world.
Large unexplored reefs still beckon the explorer - and we still load up our boat and go off to explore for a few days, coming back after finding new reefs. No wonder that among keen divers, the Andamans possess the same lure as Shangri La for treasure-hunters - a place of great promise and secrets, holding countless wonders for those brave enough to visit.
Thankfully, you no longer have to be super-adventurous to
visit the Andamans (it is a short flight away, so you don't
even have to eat the airline food!) or dive here.
Our trained professional staff, top-quality equipment, comfortable dive boats and personalized training ensure that your diving needs are catered to with top-notch levels of safety and professionalism. And no one on this planet has more dives in the Andamans than our dive professionals - most of our guides have worked full-time in the Andamans for years, and each of them has well over 1000 dives in these waters alone. So you are assured of guides who know exactly where to find the most interesting subjects on any given dive. This expertise shows - virtually all the top dive sites of the area have been found and first dived by our dive team.
Build up your diving skills with our array of courses for divers of all experience levels. For those who have not dived in a while, we offer scuba refreshers, where we review the basic theory and essential dive skills, followed by a tune-up dive in our house reef (easy conditions, gradual increase in depth and lots of fishlife!).
While you are here, you might want to consider combining your diving with some continuing education training. Are you an experienced diver looking for a new challenge or do you want to take your skills to a new level entirely? Consider our Tech Fundamentals package. Interested in fish and marine ecology? Check out our various specialties in Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Photo and Underwater Video.
We have diver continuing education programs for all skill levels - and these practical-oriented courses mean that you don't spend a lot of time in a classroom but can combine a dive holiday with improving your skills. Visit our Courses for Certified Divers section for more information.
